Board of Education members at graduationThe nine-member South Colonie Board of Education meetings are held on  Tuesdays of each month, unless otherwise noted. Exceptions may be made to avoid conflicts with religious holy days, state and national conferences, or extended recess periods.

Board of Education meetings begin at 7:00 pm in the Board Room at the District Office located at 102 Loralee Drive, Albany, New York 12205.

Board meetings may be held at alternate times or sites, and may occasionally be rescheduled due to inclement weather. In these cases, advance notice is given on this website. The Board of Education may also hold special meetings as needed.

Standard Work Day and Reporting Resolution 2017-2018 School Year

BE IT RESOLVED, that the South Colonie Central School District hereby establishes the following Resolution which lists the Standard Work Days for Elected and Appointed Officials and will report those days worked to the New York State and Local Employees’ Retirement System based on the record of activities maintained and submitted by these officials to the Clerk of the Board of Education. This resolution will also be made available to the public at the office of the District Clerk located at 102 Loralee Drive, Albany, New York. view the resolution (pdf)

NYS Office of the State Comptroller Reports

Pursuant to Section 33 of the General Municipal Law, the South Colonie Central School District is required to make reports from the Office of the State Comptroller available to the public upon request and to post any such reports on the District’s website for a period of five years from the date of the report.
