Colonie Central High School offers numerous college-in-high-school courses across many disciplines. Students in grades 9 through 12 can take advantage of such diverse offerings as Computer Graphics, Curriculum Instruction in the Primary Grades, AP Language & Composition and AP Physics among others.
Students can earn credit for the College of St. Rose, SUNY and HVCC courses upon successful completion of each course. College Credit for AP courses is dependent on the student's performance on the corresponding AP exam. Credit for the RIT courses is dependent on the student's performance on the RIT final exam.
All College-in-high-school courses require a fee determined by the college or the College Board. The College of St Rose, SUNY Albany, HVCC and RIT all have different registration processes for their courses and different fees.
