Facilities Home
Our athletic facilities provide student-athletes with outstanding spaces to train, compete and grow. Recent improvements through the district's Next Generation Colonie capital project have transformed our campus into one of the premier athletic complexes in the Capital Region. From championship-caliber competition venues to modern training spaces, our facilities support excellence in athletics while serving students, families and the community year-round.
Ambrosio Field
Completed in fall 2024, Ambrosio Field features a state-of-the-art synthetic turf playing surface, integrated play clocks, a high-definition video scoreboard, expanded seating and a modern press box with broadcasting capabilities. The facility is home to Colonie football, soccer, field hockey, lacrosse and flag football.
Track & Field Complex
The six-lane track was upgraded in 2024 with new long jump pits, shot put circles and a dedicated discus area. It serves the district's track and field and cross-country programs and hosts the annual Harry Koch Colonie Relays along with other school and community events.
Multi-Use Gymnasium (MUG)
Originally built in 1987, the MUG was renovated in 2024 with updated Wolf Pack branding, modern locker rooms, coaches' offices and direct access to the Fitness Center. It serves as a primary venue for athletic competitions, practices and school events.
Fitness Center
Completed in 2025, the 3,000-square-foot Fitness Center includes Olympic lifting racks, free weights, turf training space and equipment that supports strength, conditioning and sport-specific training for student-athletes.
Wrestling Room
The dedicated wrestling room serves all district wrestling programs, providing year-round practice space for varsity, modified and youth athletes.
The PIT
Once home to Colonie basketball, The PIT remains an active athletic space used for wrestling matches, physical education classes, practices, camps and community programs while preserving an important part of the district's athletic history.
Soccer & Lacrosse Fields
Two irrigated natural grass fields provide competition and practice space for soccer and lacrosse.
Baseball Fields
The varsity baseball field features a fully irrigated playing surface, updated scoreboard, bullpens and an outdoor batting facility, creating an environment for competition and player development.
Tennis Courts
The seven outdoor tennis courts, resurfaced in 2021, host high school tennis, camps, community programs and collegiate competition.
Athletic Training Room
The Athletic Training Room supports student-athletes with injury prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation services throughout the school year.
