On Tuesday, Nov. 26, the graduating players surprised their educators with handwritten notes of appreciation and symbolic basketball jerseys, acknowledging the profound influence their teachers have had on them both in the classroom and on the court.

Timed perfectly during the holiday season and as the basketball season was ramping up, this gesture was part of a growing nationwide trend to express gratitude.
