In accordance with New York State requirements, Colonie Central High School recently held an election to select a student representative to the South Colonie Board of Education. Following the vote, tenth-grade student Vincent Forenzo was chosen to serve in this important role for the 2024-25 school year.

Vincent will serve as an ex officio student board member, attending Board of Education meetings and offering insight on issues that impact students. His role helps ensure that student perspectives are considered in district decision-making and strengthens the connection between students and school leadership.

Brody Dauost was selected as the alternate representative and will support this work throughout the year.
