Lisha Kill 7th and 8th grade band achieves superior rating at music in the parks festival
On Friday, May 10, 7th and 8th Grade band members from Lisha Kill Middle School traveled to Massachusetts to showcase their musical talents at a Music in the Parks Festival. They were evaluated along with several other middle school bands and delivered a stellar performance, earning an impressive grade of 93.75 out of a possible 100. This exceptional score granted them a Superior rating, a testament to their dedication and commitment to their instrument and band at Lisha Kill.
Following their performance, the students enjoyed a well-deserved day of fun and relaxation at Six Flags New England. The amusement park visit served as a perfect celebration for their hard work and achievement.
"I am incredibly proud of the students and the hard work they put in,” said Joel Miller, Lisha Kill band teacher. “This was a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their talents and enjoy a memorable experience."
