Roessleville UPK students to host lemonade stand for a cause

Roessleville’s UPK students are excited to announce their upcoming Lemonade Stand event, taking place on Thursday, May 23, outside their UPK classrooms. The event will run in two sessions: from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. and from 12:45 to 2:30 p.m.

The young students are eager to serve refreshing lemonade, with all proceeds benefiting Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer. This event not only allows the students to practice valuable social and entrepreneurial skills but also teaches them the importance of giving back to the community.

“We are thrilled to see our students come together for such a worthy cause,” said UPK teacher Alicia Brinkman. “Their enthusiasm and dedication to helping others are truly inspiring.”

Community members are encouraged to stop by, enjoy a cup of lemonade for $1, and support the fight against childhood cancer. Join us in making a difference, one cup at a time
