The South Colonie Central School District is thrilled to unveil its new imagery and branding under the recently adopted nickname, "Colonie Wolf Pack." This announcement marks the culmination of a comprehensive rebranding process that began in March 2023, following a mandate from the State Education Department.

After extensive collaboration, planning, and community engagement, the Board of Education officially approved the district’s new athletic nickname, "Colonie Wolf Pack," in February 2024. The change became effective July 1, 2024.

"The unveiling of our new imagery is more than just a visual update,” said Dr. David Perry, Superintendent of Schools. “It signifies a renewed commitment to our students, staff, and community. The Colonie Wolf Pack represents unity, strength, and a shared vision for the future of our district.”

To protect and preserve the integrity of the new identity, the district has filed a trademark for the "Colonie Wolf Pack" name and imagery. This important step will ensure that the Wolf Pack brand remains both distinctive and respected.

Merchandise store now open
In collaboration with their design partner, Elevation Ten Thousand, the South Colonie Central School District has launched a new merchandise store. This store features a variety of items showcasing the Colonie Wolf Pack imagery and designs. It offers a range of apparel and accessories, allowing the community to proudly display their Wolf Pack spirit.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to this rebranding process,” added Dr. Perry. “Your input and support have been invaluable in shaping a brand that truly represents the essence of South Colonie Central School District.”
