Colonie Central High School Athletic Hall of Fame to Induct Class of 2024 at Fall Ceremony
The Colonie Central High School Athletic Hall of Fame committee is proud to announce the induction of the class of 2024. This year's inductees include a distinguished group of athletes, coaches, teams, and sports contributors who have significantly impacted the Colonie Central High School athletic program.
“The Athletic Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring the achievements of our past athletes,” said William Roemer, athletic director. “Each of this year’s honorees exemplifies the pride, sportsmanship, and citizenship that serve as a model for our current and future athletes. We are excited to celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to welcoming their family and friends at our fall ceremony.”
The following sports contributors will be recognized during the induction ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Colonie High School Auditorium:
- 1962 Boys Cross Country Team
- Jennifer Mortimer (Kramer)
- Joe Trimarchi
- Ken Strube
- Marco Tomaso
- Tony Rossi
- Tehresa (Coles) Massena
- Wendy Kelley
Immediately following the ceremony, Colonie will host their first home game on the new turf field, facing off against Guilderland.
