Colonie clubs unleash Wolf Pack merch with pop-up shop collab
Two student clubs at Colonie Central High School have teamed up to create a pop-up merchandise shop in celebration of the district’s rebrand to the Colonie Wolf Pack. Students from the business club and graphics club have been hard at work designing and preparing a unique collection of items that will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, Oct. 9, during the school's open house.
The pop-up shop, fittingly named “Wolfie’s Den,” marks the return of a beloved school tradition. Colonie Central once had a school store, and with the excitement surrounding the district’s new branding, the opportunity arose for both clubs to collaborate and bring it back to life. Wolfie’s Den offers a fun and fresh way for students and the community to connect with the new Colonie Wolf Pack identity.
“This project has been a great opportunity for students to learn real-world skills in both business and design,” said Justin Defazzio, teacher and graphics club advisor. “We’re proud of how both clubs came together to revive the store, and the designs truly reflect the pride we all feel for our school.”
Items for sale include keychains, pop sockets, drink koozies, baseball caps, window clings, magnets, mini flags, and pencil cases, along with other limited-edition accessories.
“Bringing the two clubs together has been awesome,” said Susan Stone, teacher and business club advisor. “We want them to experience all aspects of running a business, from pricing items to planning marketing strategies. The proceeds from the items sold will support club activities.”
