On Thursday, Nov. 21, the Music Department will present the annual Music Faculty Recital at 7 p.m. in the Mark Cornell Auditorium at Colonie Central High School.

Of the many traditions that are upheld each year in South Colonie, one of the most popular within the school musical community is the annual Music Faculty Recital.  Every autumn, the very talented South Colonie music teachers present a concert to support the Music Scholarship fund for graduating seniors.

Each of the music teachers, many of whom are professional musical performers, will take to the stage for your listening enjoyment.  All musical styles will be represented in this hour-long vocal and instrumental recital.  Outstanding students will also be featured alongside their teachers.

Donations will be accepted at the door, and the South Colonie Friends of Music will provide a free reception afterwards.  We hope you will join us for this annual musical tradition that celebrates the district’s commitment to music education.
