South Colonie to host walk-in job fairs in March; Explore opportunities in clerical, food service,

The South Colonie Central School District will host two walk-in recruiting events in March, offering an opportunity for job seekers to explore a variety of support staff and transportation positions within the district. These events are open to the public, providing a chance to learn about careers that make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
Support Staff Walk-In Job Fair - Monday, March 10, 2025
On Monday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, the South Colonie District Office at 102 Loralee Drive, Colonie, NY 12205 will open its doors to those interested in support staff positions. The district is hiring for a range of roles, including monitors, food service roles, clerical staff, and custodial substitutes. Individuals hired are eligible for a $500 signing bonus and enjoy the benefits of New York State Retirement.
Transportation Walk-In Job Fair - Thursday, March 13, 2025
For those interested in careers with the South Colonie Transportation Department, a second walk-in job fair will be held on Thursday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Transportation Department at 2 Winston Pl., Colonie, NY 12205. The Transportation Department is hiring for several positions, including automotive mechanic, 10-month and 12-month bus drivers with flexible hours, and a combo driver/custodial mechanic role. Attendees can also take advantage of paid training, as well as the opportunity to earn a signing bonus of up to $1200 and New York State Retirement benefits.
