South Colonie Students Excel at Capital Region and Utica KidWind Challenges
The competition brought together young engineers to design and test wind turbines, as well as to present their knowledge of energy and the engineering design process to a panel of judges, with top-performing teams earning invitations to the KidWind World Championships in Phoenix, Arizona, this May.

Grade 4/5 Division:

Several South Colonie teams also participated in the Utica Regional Power-Only KidWind Competition on Tuesday, March 18, competing against teams from across the state.
