CCHS Educator Kristin Mesick honored with CEHC's Exceptional Mentor Award by UAlbany
Colonie Central High School's Kristin Mesick was celebrated for her outstanding contributions to education with the CEHC's Exceptional Mentor Award from the University at Albany. This prestigious accolade recognizes high school teachers, counselors, or administrators who demonstrate exceptional commitment to nurturing students' interests in Information Sciences/Technology, Cybersecurity, and Emergency Management/Homeland Security.
Mesick was selected for this honor following nominations from faculty and staff within UAlbany's College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity (CEHC). The award acknowledges her dedication to igniting and cultivating a passion in students for pursuing careers in these vital fields.
During the CEHC Award Ceremony on Friday, May 10, Mesick was applauded for her significant impact on her students and her influential role in guiding them toward future careers in information sciences and related fields.
